Homeopathy : A Brief Introduction
Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, a noble Physician from Germany, believed, “if a substance or a poison has the power to cause disease in a human body, it will also have the power to cure it” (Similia. Coming To The Point
I got infected with Covid on Sunday the 18th of April, 2021.. It all started that evening with terrible chills, intense body heat, excruciating body aches and unbearable headache..
As a beneficiary of Homeopathy more so after seeing so many of its benefits during many complicated cases in our family, I have gradually developed great trust in Homeopathy. In addition to that, I am also a qualified Homeopath though not certified and in the past twenty years have cured quite a few cases within my own family and a few other close friends and relatives.
After the first case of Covid was reported in India in February, 2020, I did substantial research and found that Homeopathy has decades of history in curing epidemics and this Corona Virus too can easily be dealt with.. Finding that info extremely fascinating, I dug deeper and pulled out more info about Dr. Rajan Sankaran.. Here’s what I found..

That was at about 7 p.m. At about 11 p.m, before retiring to bed, I took one more dose of Arsenic Alb 200 and slept. Felt almost normal by the next morning. However, by the evening, all the symptoms had returned and aggravated my pain. Then, I realized, “this is certainly Covid and needs a more aggressive approach”.
After taking two more doses of Arsenic Alb 200 on the second day evening and also on the third day morning, to arrest the spread of the virus in my body, I have started taking Gelsemium 200 and Bryonia 200, alternatively every four hours for the next three days. I started getting better and better after each dose of those two wonderful remedies.
To my utter shock, on the morning of 22nd, April, my 26 – year old younger daughter, Amulya, woke me up saying, “Dad, I lost my smell” which is a clear symptom of Covid. I immediately gave her a wet dose of Camphora 1M. After about two hours, she felt better and could smell a little. On the same evening, even my wife lost her smell.
It was then, I immediately called Dr. Meghna – Dean of Dr. Rajan Sankaran’s The Other Song International Academy of Advanced Homeopathy (www.theothersong.com) – and a close colleague of Dr Rajan Sankaran in Mumbai and explained to her our condition. At 7 P.M, Dr. Rajan Sankaran himself had come on Skype and spoke to us individually for about half an hour and noted down all our symptoms.
Just before that call, at about 6 p.m,, I felt absolutely normal. Told the same to Dr Rajan too during our Skype conversation.. He said, “don’t think it’s over. For the initial six days there will be a lot of fluctuation in symptoms. This is actually the most crucial period in Covid everyone should pay attention to.. Any negligence here leads the problem into lungs. In your case, today is still the fifth day so let us carefully monitor your symptoms for one more day”.
As was rightly said by Dr. Rajan, all my symptoms returned the same night and in the early morning next day, I too lost my smell.. That marked the beginning of the most terrifying phase of our life that lasted for the next 15 days. However, Dr Rajan and Dr. Meghna strongly stood by us, giving us the much needed assurance and courage that “everything would be fine soon”.
Dr. Rajan had prescribed Hepar Sulph to me, Pulsatilla to my wife; and Arsenic Alb to my daughter based upon our symptoms but in varying potencies. We started responding well. However, everyday was still a challenge for us and everyday we would be developing newer and more complicated symptoms.
Watching all our symptoms carefully, Dr Rajan attacked the virus with more powerful medicines like Phosphorous to my wife and Bryonia (a Genus Epidemicus founded by Dr Hahnemann) to my daughter. He asked me to continue Hepar Sulph but with a much higher potency.
As I said, this particular strain is pretty deadly and did not heed easily to Dr Rajan’s mounting pressure upon it. As a result, I fainted on the morning of 26th April (the ninth day of my disease) and went into complete unconsciousness. In a way, I was almost gone. Later, as my wife told me,
“I suddenly had fallen flat on the ground, became unconscious, my body turned cold, pupils started disappearing and my head was drooping to the right”. A state of complete collapse. Thankfully, by the grace of God, I regained my consciousness, after a couple of minutes, and became normal with the passing of the day.
However, that shock had impacted my wife severely and my daughter mildly. While in my wife, that shock had triggered her old Asthma, accompanied by wheezing and severe cough; in my daughter, it had caused shortness of breath and cough.. Here Dr. Rajan had given Antimonium Arsenicum to my wife; Causticum to my daughter; and Camphora to me..
While these medicines completed the cure in me and my daughter, they however did not have the same impact on my wife.. Finally, Dr. Rajan had given her Kali Carb and that did the miracle to my wife. Her Asthma subsided, her wheezing disappeared and her cough had gone.. And our Covid was fully cured and safely too. PERIOD
Here Are Our Covid Symptoms And Complications
What I clearly noticed during this horrifying period of Covid is, “this new strain is affecting all our five senses and also our mind, body, heart, digestive system and in some lesser blessed cases, lungs as well, which is finally resulting in death. Of course not in all cases but in a majority of cases.
My Symptoms : Fever, Headache, Body aches, Brain fag, jaded Memory, Weakness, Stupor, bitter Taste, loss of Smell, loss of Appetite, blurred Vision, Ears becoming sensitive to noise, Skin becoming sensitive to touch and heat, dark vomiting (rarely), Fatigue and Fainting.
My Wife’s Symptoms : Continuous Fever sometimes above 103, Weakness, Body aches, constant Headache, Asthma, Wheezing, Chest congestion, Persistent cough, Breathlessness, loss of Taste, loss of Smell and loss of Appetite among others.
My Daughter’s Symptoms : In addition to having all my above symptoms, except fainting, my daughter lost in sleep and struggled to wake up for 16 minutes one day, temporary loss of Speech and Movement, Oxygen levels briefly fell down to 87, Forgetfulness, Cold, Depression, terrible pain in Jaws, Chest pain, Body freezing/jerks, Cough, Breathlessness, Nose bleeding and Fatigue among others.
Thankfully, all these complications of Covid that tormented us thus far; all the suffering that it inflicted upon us for so many days; and all the humiliation that we had gone through for such a longer period of time have just vanished by the grace of God, by the sheer brilliance of Dr Rajan Sankaran, by the love and care of Dr. Meghna and finally by the incredible power of Homeopathy. As a result, without using any Allopathic medicine, we were all normal by 5th of May.

From the day Covid entered our world in 2020, Doctors both in India and abroad are clueless about the exact treatment method or a magic bullet to cure it. However, the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) had approved several repurposed drugs for ‘restricted emergency use’ for treating Covid.
Many Indian Scientists & Researchers have raised concerns over this hasty decision, but the DCGI went ahead and granted emergency authorization to at least three drugs for treating COVID patients in India. In June, 2020, Favipiravir, an influenza drug; and Remdesivir, a broad-spectrum antiviral drug, have been approved for treating mild to moderate cases of Covid..
In July, Itolizumab was approved for treating moderate to severe acute respiratory distress in Covid patients. Shockingly, a month after this, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, the manufacturer of Favipiravir which markets it in India as Fabiflu, had stated, “before being approved, Favipiravir was tested only in 150 patients with mild to moderate illness”.
(This same Glenmark company had posted sales of Rs352 crore in April alone overtaking the sales of drugs for lifestyle ailments such as diabetes which have thus far been been dominating the Indian market)
Here began all the tragic drama in the lives of millions of Covid patients across India. One after the other – from antibiotics to antiviral drugs to antiparasitic drugs to plasma therapy to corticosteroids – Doctors in India have started experimenting with many varieties of drugs on Covid patients. While those blessed among them survived; those lesser blessed, perished.. PERIOD
A Covid patient goes to a Doctor with complete trust and religiously follows everything the Doctor says. He gets all the tests done, takes all the medicines prescribed – including the highly harmful corticosteroids without understanding what good or harm they would be doing to his body – and sincerely pays all the money the Doctor or his Hospital demands even if that is at the cost of his family’s hard earned money, jewelry or property.

With many heartbreaking death cases being reported everyday and with so many such complaints coming from patients against all such Hospitals, the Telangana govt had cancelled Covid permission given to 31 Hospitals, including the famous KIMS Hospitals, Century Hospitals, Sunshine Hospitals and Virinchi Hospitals among others in Hyderabad, and prohibited them from taking up any new Covid case.

Drugs Being Used By Allopathic Doctors For Treating Covid – 19 In India
These are the five major drugs and therapies that are included in the Ministry of Health’s revised treatment protocol in India along with their respective Indian and international guidelines.
1. Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ)
Indian Guidelines : It’s an anti malarial drug recommended under ‘May Do’ as a preventive measure in home isolation and care.
International Guidelines : The WHO and US FDA have issued a strong recommendation against the use of HCQ for lack of scientific evidence.
Dangerous Side Effects : It may worsen the symptoms of Psoriasis and Porphyria; it can damage eyes if used in high doses ; it can cause heart diseases which in some cases may lead to death;

Ivermectin
Ivermectin is used with the same name in India, however, in the US it is used under the brand name drug, Stromectol.
Indian Guidelines : An antiparasitic drug recommended under ‘May Do’ under home isolation of mild/asymptomatic Covid 19 cases.
International Guidelines : The WHO has warned against the use of Ivermectin except within clinical trials.. On the 5th of March, the US FDA had said, “Ivermectin should not be used to treat or prevent Covid”.
Serious Side Effects : Pain in neck and back, Serious eye problems like redness, bleeding, swelling, pain, loss of vision; Shortness of breath; Inability to control urination; Inability to control bowel movements; Trouble standing or walking; Confusion; Extreme tiredness; Extreme drowsiness; Seizures; Coma; Low blood pressure with symptoms like dizziness and fainting; Severe skin reactions.
Common Side Effects : Loss of appetite, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Sleepiness or drowsiness, Joint pain and swelling, swollen and tender lymph nodes.
Remdesivir
Remdesivir is known with the brand name Veklury in the US.
Indian Guidelines : Recommended EUA (Emergency Use Authorization), Off label use for patients with moderate to severe disease within ten days of onset of symptoms, among other criteria.
International Guidelines : WHO has issued a conditional recommendation against the use of Remdesivir in hospitalized patients, regardless of disease severity, as there’s no scientific evidence it improves survival or other outcomes.. The US FDA has granted an EUA.
Serious Side Effects : Seizures, decreased kidney function, Increased prothrombin time (a blood level that measures the risk of blood clotting), and Increased levels of liver enzymes, which may be a sign of liver damage,
Mild Side effects : Decreased levels of hemoglobin (a protein in red blood cells), fever, high or increased blood sugar level, nausea and rash.
Tocilizumab
Tocilizumab is known with the brand name Actemra in the US.
Indian Guidelines : EUA off label use preferably within 24 to 48 hours of onset of severe disease or ICU admission.. And if conditions are not improving, use of steroids among criteria.
International Guidelines : Does not yet have authorization from the US FDA to treat Covid – 19.. WHO Living Guideline on November, 2020 says, ” Tocilizumab may not reduce risk of death or have an affect on any other important outcomes in patients.
Serious Side Effects : Liver problems, such as liver failure; tears or small holes in stomach and intestines; blood disorders, including low levels of platelets, white blood cells, or neutrophils; high cholesterol level, which doesn’t cause symptoms in most people; multiple sclerosis (MS); serious infections including new or worsening tuberculosis; and increased risk of certain types of cancer.
Mild Side Effects : Upper respiratory infection, such as the common cold; nasopharyngitis (swelling of nasal passages and back of throat); headache; high blood pressure.
Additionally, a few more drugs like Doxycycline, a tetracycline antibiotic; and Dolo 650 are being used by Doctors across India for treating Covid.
